What's Your "Plan"?

What?! It's 2012?!  Stop it.

I can't believe another year has passed in my random and fabulous life! This year I was fortunate to be able to do a lot of really cool things:
  • Saw U2 in concert, up close and personal
  • Wore a wedding dress (although I'd had thoughts of the first time I'd wear one being in MY wedding lol)
  • Went to Italy and Spain
  • Fell in love ... with Barcelona, Spain (haha)
  • Went on some dates with a man who I'm sure was brought into my life to show me that chivalry is NOT dead and my dreams of marriage and children will still come true someday
  • Celebrated my 15th high school reunion (that does NOT make me old)
  • Morphed myself into a brunette (which I LOVE)
  • Officially learned to salsa (and I'm not too bad of a tango-er either actually)
Now the fun part of deciding my plan for 2012 begins.  Like every year, I always go with a couple things - the good ole "lose weight/get healthier" and the "I will become more worldly" mantras.

Everything else in my life just happens at random, and I love every second of it! Most of the time. I think life's randomness has taught me to be very adaptable.

For example: I'm in my New Year's Eve black dress, sliding into the cab's back seat on my way TO the party, and I hear a rip.  Yes, that's right, I now have a back vent that's about a foot long instead of the standard 3-4 inches.  Awkward!  But ya know what?! That's nothing that a bobby-pin-inserted-from-the-fabric's-inside can't handle. And BAM, I can still have a good night without exposing my bits to the world! (Plus the dress was lined, so that helped a lot too).

Or even better, when I fell in love with this girl's gorgeous butterfly mask at the party - she stayed and continued to talk to us for 20 minutes. Granted, I didn't really want to have a conversation with her for that long, but hey, I got to try on the mask!

Or the time when I went to the tailor to get some dresses altered, and I ended up modeling bridal gowns!  The list goes on and on.

I think it's an amazing to think that at any point in time, you're right where you're meant to be. (Yes, that's my all-powerful-and-overwhelming message to you).  So this year, aside from my plan to get healthier,  I'm resolving to go-with-the-flow a little more (not plan so much).

Yup, my 2012 will fall into place just how it's supposed to.  What's your "plan"?
