Wine, Cheese and Romance?!

Everyone knows that I love to throw a good party, but how can you do one in just 30 minutes?  Here's how...

Throw a Wine, Cheese & Pure Romance Party!  Wine is easy to grab, cheese is quick and simple to display, and Pure Romance provides the entertainment!

I had a handful of friends over, and literally did this in 30 minutes (minus the etched glasses, that I made in front of the TV for a few hours the night before). But it looks like I spent some seeeeeeerious time on it, right?! ;-)

Here's my buffet hutch - I used it as the place for my friends to grab napkins, plates, and find their own monogrammed wine glass a.k.a. their party favor!

I etched these with an Inscriblio engraving pen - printed out monograms on pc paper, taped them to the inside of the glass and hand traced on the outside.

And here's the Vino & Cheese set-up.  Normally I'd have red too, but my friends that were coming, all liked white! So I chose a Chardonnay and a Gewurztraminer.  


 

I put all the accoutrements on medium sized slate boards that I had from Crate & Barrel. (One of the best investments ever!) Also, make sure to buy the soapstone chalk - then you can easily write on the boards and wash them off after your party!
