Whew!  What a couple of months I've had.

I know I've posted on Facebook about some of it - my computer crashing, my debit card being frauded, my side business checking account was hacked, it seemed just like one bad thing after another. And for someone who chooses to live life with an optimistic outlook and spin on life, I was finding it very difficult to keep my chin up and focus on the upside.

I was pretty down.

I'm happy to report that life is looking up now, friends! My worklife and health is good.  And yes, you may have read on my FB page, that I lost at basketball and skeeball this weekend at Dave & Buster's. And you may have read that there was a night recently where I laughed soooo hard that my cheeks hurt.  But what you don't know is that those two things are linked by one, pretty cool man.

He's the one that actually gave me this blog topic!  So yes, he's aware I'm writing this. He even gets the preview to read before I post this - so it's been officially "approved".

You don't get to know his name, and you don't get to know much else. But here's what I can share:

• We both own BopIt
• Our birthdays are 3 days apart
• He's definitely wittier than me
• The fave color for both of us is green
• We have the same "5-year plan"
• He's better at basketball and skeeball than I am
• I'm a better "shooter" on gun games (he made me put this disclaimer that he disagrees w/that lol)
• We're both awkward and kind of dorky
• We both overshare and spill our guts
• Family is very important to both

That's all for now. I'm hoping my span of terrible luck with banking and computers is over. Here's to new outlooks and beginnings!
